DeltaRack Beta 1.24

Choose components from the official parts menu or move existing rack pieces and snap using the full-width opening rims of the OpenLOCK sockets, rather than overlapping their internal centres. This is still a mechanical alignment prototype.

Grid spacing

A clean, solid work surface replaces the gridlines. Grid snapping remains available independently, and OpenLOCK connections still align precisely.

Move and inspect parts

Move Part mode (drag anywhere to move selected part)

In Move Part mode, click a component to select it, then left-drag it or empty space to move it. Uncheck to click numbered socket markers.

Left-drag a solid to move it. Shift + left-drag moves vertically. Right-drag orbits; middle-drag or Shift + right-drag pans; scroll zooms. Drop near another oppositely facing socket to snap. Connections within 1 mm are detected automatically. For manual snapping, the part can rotate in 90° increments automatically.

Experimental OpenLOCK snapping

Mating planes and outward-facing directions are derived from the long 14.26 mm opening-rim edges in the STEP geometry (the blue-highlighted mating surface). Two socket openings must face one another. CAD mesh collision checking now rejects overlapping snap placements; physical clip engagement is not yet validated.
